Each year Miami Women's Panhellenic awards scholarships to outstanding undergraduate and graduate sorority women who embody the highest ideals of Greek life. Our scholarship program is central to our mission as a Panhellenic chapter, and we encourage all eligible women to apply.

Scholarships will be awarded at our annual Scholarship Luncheon, to be held on February 10, 2024.

Miami Women's Panhellenic will award two $1,000 scholarships to University of Miami women. University of Miami women are eligible for the Mary B. Merritt and Louise P. Mills Award.
Miami Women's Panhellenic will award two $1,000 scholarships to Florida International University women. Florida International University women are eligible for the Ruth D. Kerdyk Past Presidents Award
The Mary B. Merritt and Louise P. Mills Award is presented to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate female student at the University of Miami who is a member in good standing of a National Panhellenic Conference Sorority. The award is in memory of Mary B. Merritt (former University of Miami Dean of Women and Founder of our Association) and Louise P. Mills (former member of the University of Miami Administration, former University of Miami Dean of Women and past Association President). The recipient of the award must demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities and is/was an active member of her sorority as an undergraduate. Additionally, she should be active in her community and college, and have high academic achievement while being goal oriented in her pursuits.
The scholarship in memory of Mary B. Merritt and Louise P. Mills is a one-time cash award of $1000 given directly to the recipient chosen by the Scholarship Award Committee of the Miami Women’s Panhellenic Association. The award is presented each year at MWP's scholarship celebration.
The Ruth D. Kerdyk Past Presidents Award is presented to an outstanding undergraduate or graduate female student at Florida International University or Barry University who is a member in good standing of a National Panhellenic Conference Sorority. The award is in memory of Ruth D. Kerdyk, a past president of the Miami Women's Panhellenic, and a well-known book reviewer in the Miami community. The recipient of the award must demonstrate outstanding leadership abilities and is/was an active member of her sorority as an undergraduate. Additionally, she should be active in her community and college and have had high academic achievement while being goal oriented in her pursuits.
